Here is the Wedding Gift Mini-Scrapbook Gift!

Published by kb1151 at 10:36 am under gift albums Edit This

I finally finished this mini chipboard album and just in time.  The wedding is today!  I started out with a Bo-Bunny “Love” Chipboard Album I got for cheap on Ebay.  I had been thinking of making this album for quite a while so I made sure to do some investigative reporting so to speak.  I asked my friend about what colors she was having for the wedding, flowers, etc. so I could incorporate that into my album.  Sometimes doing this really makes it an ultra special gift because people know you were really listening to them and remembered the little details.  She is having an aqua blue color for the bridesmaid dresses and I got to see exactly what color when I happened to go to the craft store with her in search of ribbon to decorate her garter.  After getting this detail, I went with black and aqua colored papers for the book along with matching ribbons.  I punched out the bride and groom’s names and some hearts from their invite with my circle punch so I could use those too.  I ended up binding the book together with ribbon which worked okay–you just have to make sure to leave a little room for turning pages.  I really like how this turned out.  I added little dimensions where the pictures should go so she can cut them to size and will throw in some tape adhesive so she can complete the album with the pictures she chooses.  I have a feeling this may also get her hooked on scrapbooking…we’ll see.  Now I just need to enclose my sentiments and some basic directions and find a gift bag quick!  The wedding is today!
