My Mama Rocks Mother’s Day Digital Scrapbooking Page
To celebrate Mother’s Day, I’ve decided to dig out some pictures and do some layouts of me with my kids and my mom. I recently got my hands on a new digital kit called “I’m Gonna Tell Mommy!” and I have to say it’s options are endless. I also just found out the papers and embellishments are being offered for free right now!! Follow the link to get over to Digital Arts Cafe and get it. I decided to do a “My Mama Rocks” page because there was a cute piece of wordart in the kit. It also sounds like something my youngest daughter would say. I used a grid template I downloaded from Creating Keepsakes that went along with my Computer Tricks for Scrapbooking 2 book by Jessica Sprague. She also designed the grid. After that it was easy. I just put whatever paper I chose under the grid layer and then used the elliptical marquee to draw my cutting line, chose the inverse(so it cut everything except my cutting line) and presto one space filled. Finish the rest and add embellishments and text and here is the finished page.
