Easter Egg Hunt Scrapbooking Page
What are the Easter traditions in your family? In my family growing up, the Easter bunny always hid the eggs that we colored around the house in plastic grass. There would be the egg and another little something for us. I started to do that with my kids and they enjoyed it, but I have two girls and it was hard for them to tell whose goodies were whose. One year I made little card like deals to put by their treats. Finally, I didn’t want to deal with the hassle and took on my husbands not-so-exciting approach that he grew up with. This is a basket for each child filled with goodies. One year my youngest daughter didn’t want the Easter bunny to come in the house so we had to leave a note for the Easter bunny to leave her basket out on the front porch. Once, I read about a funny tradition where the Easter bunny used a string from each child’s bed to lead them to their basket. We tried that one year and it was a hit. I hadn’t planned on doing that this year, but my youngest mentioned that again, so we’ll see. My 10-year-old knows we are the Easter bunny now, but plays along for her sister. This page was based mainly on a sticker pack I had. I cut out the eggs with my Creative Memories shapes cutter. It’s not real exciting or my best work, but it will give you some more ideas.
