Scrap Girl

I have a scrapbook challenge for anyone reading my blog.  I challenge you to do a page just about you.  I’m working on the first one I have ever done just about myself.  If you are like me, you are usually the one behind the camera and hardly ever even get in your family pictures.  Make a note to have someone take your picture, or set your self-timer and take a couple of shots of yourself.  I’ll be coming up with ideas for great pages to do about yourself.  Just remember, this isn’t going to be some sort of self-centered gesture by taking on this challenge.  This will be you sharing about yourself for the benefit of your family and friends so they can get a little glimpse into the way we think and feel about our lives.  When I finish my page this week I will post it so you can a) see who actually keeps writing this blog, and b) get to know me just a little bit better.  My plan is to have my own album one day.  I’m sure it will be a one or two page layout added each year, but it will really let my kids, in particular, know what I treasure and value most in life.  After all, we all just want someone to truly know and understand us, don’t we?
