More Cookie Scrapbooking Pages(my very first)
Wow! I just went for a walk down memory lane and looked through all of my cookie scrapbooking pictures. At first when I looked at these pages I’m about to post, I thought, oh man, my scrapbooking is so much better now. As I kept looking at them, I found myself thinking, yeah, they are not the greatest artistically, but man I love those pictures and hey, after all, scrapbooking is all about the pictures! My oldest daughter looks so dang cute in these pictures! I had only been doing scrapbooking for about a year or so at the time. I had gotten into it through a Creative Memories home party and their way of doing pictures is more of a get as many done as you can in an orderly way, without really an artistic view of the layouts. It is more about a time saving way to put your albums in scrapbooks. The scrapbook page I did in 2000 still looks nice, but not nearly as nice as my layouts do now. We just need to remind ourselves, I guess, that our scrapbooking styles are ever-changing, and just because I’m better now, it doesn’t take anything away from what I did back then.
Great pages! I’ve just started scrapbooking and I like to look at other people’s pages to get some inspiration! I don’t think that my pages are very good at the moment, but, like you say, you have to start somewhere and hopefully this will lead to better pages in future!
