Make Your Own Advent Calendar

Christmas is sneaking up on us and the kids will soon be asking, “How many days until Christmas?”  Here is how you can make your own original advent calendar.  Find four to five pieces of Christmas or winter themed papers, locate your 1 or 2″ square punch.  I’d recommend the 2″, but I don’t have one, so I will make do.  Find any sticker or chipboard letters to match your paper and whatever matching embellishments you like.  I happen to have supplies leftover from a KI Memories kit I bought last year so I will use those.  Your kids won’t care, so you might as well use what you already have at home.  You’ll also need a marker or pen to do the dates.  Things you also need that I haven’t purchased would be candy for each date, and a 12×12 scrapbook page frame(optional).  You also need your basic kit with adhesive and cutting tools.  You can use scotch tape or glue dots to adhere the candy.  Get all of those supplies ready and we’ll move on to making the calendar tomorrow.
