Scrapbooking retreats–save some money, have some fun!
Greetings! Thanks for visiting. I just got back from my college friend’s scrapbooking weekend. I left yesterday and scrapped all afternoon and most of the evening at her home with some other scrapbooking pals we know. I managed to finish the baby book gift I was making, saved some money while putting it together, and got caught up with old friends. You can save money believe it or not, by going to a scrapbooking retreat. For example, if I didn’t have the right paper to match what I was working on, one of my friends usually had what I was looking for. Also, one of my friends has one of those expensive Cricut Electronic Cutting machines and she gracefully let all of us use it for our pages. I cut out most of my titles using that machine, saving valuable time, and they look terrific. It is a share and share alike type of atmosphere so we all have access to each others tools and supplies. Also, everybody at a retreat kind of collaborates and helps your creative ideas along. I’ll be posting the rest of the baby scrapbook pages this week. Let me know what you think!
